Run Cancer Gandia 2026: 5 kilometers to fight cancer together
Next Sunday, October 25, Gandia will once again demonstrate its most supportive side with a new edition of Run Cancer, a day that brings together neighbors, families and sports fans with the same goal: to support cancer research.
The event will take place in Plaça del Prado , with a race and a 5-kilometer charity walk open to anyone who wants to do their bit.
A race where the important thing is to participate
You don't need to be an experienced runner to take part in this initiative. Run Cancer Gandia offers two options so everyone can participate at their own pace:
5 km race: start at 11:00 am.
5 km walk: starting at 11:05 am, an alternative for those who prefer to walk.
Both routes share a path through the streets of Gandia, turning sport into an opportunity to enjoy the city and collaborate with a good cause.
How to participate in Run Cancer Gandia?
The entry fee is €5 , with all proceeds going to cancer research projects. Online registration will remain open until October 22nd at 11:59 PM through the official Run Cancer website.
It will also be possible to collect race numbers at Plaça de les Escoles Pies on October 23 and 24, and at the starting area on the day of the event, according to the organization's conditions.
Gandia, a city committed to solidarity
In the 2025 edition, Gandia raised €25,205 for cancer research. This year, the goal is to continue building on this effort and demonstrate that small gestures, like walking five kilometers, can contribute to significant progress.
