The Fira i Festes de Gandia 2026 returns from 2 to 5 October and, as every year, will turn the city into one of the main meeting points of the autumn season.

For four days, Gandia will be filled with music, tradition, shows, family activities and a lively atmosphere throughout its streets. A perfect occasion to enjoy with family or friends, or simply to rediscover the city in a different way.

El Tío de la Porra Kicks Off the Festivities

One of the most eagerly awaited moments will once again be the arrival of El Tío de la Porra, one of the most iconic symbols of these celebrations.

His bands will parade through the streets and schools of Gandia, officially announcing the start of the Fira to the sound of drums and creating that unmistakable festive atmosphere that marks the beginning of a very special few days.

Did you know…? El Tío de la Porra dates back to the 19th century and was inspired by the Drum Major of the National Militia, who would walk through the city announcing news to the beat of a drum. For many years, people believed his outfit was a parody of Napoleon’s troops, but historical research suggests that this version is actually just a legend.

Music and Concerts for Every Taste

Music will take centre stage in this edition, with a wide range of concerts and live performances. Some of the featured artists include:

  • Friday 2: Borja Casany, Tito Pontet, Malifeta, Auxili, DJ Plan B and Cocoloco.

  • Saturday 3: Chanel, Omar Montes, Fitovoltaje, Ultra Rumba and Fiesta Sansaru.

  • Sunday 4: Cali y El Dandee, Lara Taylor and Orquesta Montecarlo.

The Parc de la Festa will once again be one of the main meeting points for enjoying concerts, DJs and live performances.

What’s more, all concerts at the Parc de la Festa will be free, so all you need to do is choose your day, gather your friends and enjoy the atmosphere.

The Funfair Returns

Another classic that simply can’t be missed is the Fira de Atracciones, which will be set up at Parc d’Ausiàs March from 25 September to 12 October.

Rides, lights and stalls will once again create one of the most recognisable atmospheres of the season, making it a favourite plan for both children and anyone who still loves spending an afternoon at the fair.

Much More Than Concerts

During the Fira, there will also be plenty of room for theatre, markets, children’s activities and some of Gandia’s best-known traditions.

Events such as the Muixeranga, the correfoc and the mascletà will form part of a programme designed to bring different areas of the city to life.

In short, four days to go out, stroll around, enjoy the atmosphere and experience Gandia in a different way. So save the dates: from 2 to 5 October 2026, the city will be celebrating once again.

And between concerts, walks and afternoons at the fair, you can always complete the plan with a stop at MYO Gandia. And if you’re not following us yet, check out our social media to discover our shops, promotions and latest news.
